It’s time to give in
Give in to the thoughts that say you can’t do this on your own
And enjoy the respite from being the ruler of your throne
Give in and feed the wild dreams that reside
Speak life and hope, pushing fear aside
Give in, take the time to focus in on you
It’s important to arrest the lies and embrace what is true
Next, give out
To give out requires an action on your part
Turning your eyes from yourselves to offer your heart
Give out and encourage those all around
Giving your time, your money, your talents – the limits are unbound
Give out and tell others of your favorite gift you’ve received
How Jesus rescued you gladly, the moment you first believed
Finally, give up
Give up, as an offering, your tears to your heavenly Dad
He understands those times you’ve been ugly, angry and sad
Give up your hands, in praises to Him
Acknowledging His greatness, again and again
Give up by giving in and by giving out
Loving others with a clean heart is what He is all about
